I used “Press It” quite a lot a few years earlier when I was doing more blogging. I recently installed a new WP 2.7 blog and decided I would likely be using this feature quite a bit.
Usually you would find it at the bottom of the screen when you are making a new post… but this time it wasn’t there.
Thanks to the WP Codex I quickly learned that it’s been moved into the Tools section.
What does “Press This” do? It allows you to quickly comment on a page anywhere on a web by opening up the “Write Post” page and dropping the URL you want to comment on into the posting box.
Along with the Clipmarks extension for Firefox, blogging about content you find on the web is made much easier.
