Ok, I broke down and did it… I bought the Butterfly Marketing Manuscript.
I admit I wasn’t going to. Had no plan to, was refusing to even bother to take a look - then I changed my mind.
The sales page did me in. It just shows you the power of words.
(That’s why I’ve become a student of copywriting now and am working on building my own clientele. There’s power in them thar words.)
Frankly, there’s a copywriting lesson in what happened to me when I read that sales letter. The best copywriting training materials I have read have said - Always list every possible benefit. The major benefit may not get every prospect, but a smaller benefit may.
There is one problem I have puzzled over as I have been working online. It sets the groundfloor as far as I am concerned for maximum as opposed to average marketing results.
My puzzle was: Should you start by offering freebies and tolerating tirekickers who will never buy anything or do anything with the free stuff they get?
Or should you start with buyers? Should you start the relationship with a small purchase so your list is based on buyers?
So I read this bullet point on the salespage, “The big mistake most marketers make by driving traffic and trying to sell a product. When I teach you where and why the Marketing funnel needs to start at free or cheaper, your income will never be the same again.”
That spoke to me more than anything else cause I had bought into the reverse perspective.
It pushed me off the fence and got me to click the order button.
Thing is I have just been scanning the document. I saw the rationale he uses for not driving traffic to sell the product and you know what, I get the point. That means a significant change to one of my sites.
More than that though, as I scan past page 40, I’m getting very excited about the tips and instructions he’s laying down. He almost does it casually, but I’ve been around long enough to recognize the usefulness and sheer power in what he’s saying.
I imagine I shouldn’t reveal the details. What I can do is recommend you do get this product if you have the capability or interest in getting a site up and running… especially a membership site.
An intermediate or advanced marketer may get the most bang for the buck faster from reading this, but if you’re new and can grasp concepts well, it’s a good idea to start thinking the way Mike shows you to in this book so you do it right the first time.
He’s offering it here. Pick up your copy.
