Butterfly Marketing

I have to admit I was wondering if Mike F’s buzz over butterfly marketing was going to lead to a lot of disappointment. Been watching it and only picking up a few details from Brian T. Edmondson’s newsletter - I unsubscribed from a ton of the internet marketers’ newsletters because of all the regurgitated ads. Brian apparently paid Mike F a chunk of dough to be his apprentice for Butterfly Marketing. Naturally he is impressed.

Anyway, ho hum… like John Reese it’ll all be dissected in the weeks following release and once we scrape away the over-the-top ‘jubilants’ and the gutter critics, we’ll see what we have left.

Nevertheless, I do have to agree with the principle. Tiny incremental changes can make create huge results. Key is action. Once you start the wheels in motion, momentum gathers.

Action! Nothing happens till something moves. ;-) It’s a book by Robert Ringer. Pick it up.

    Hi Sabrina,

I think you’re making some quality points on the issue of conspicious consumption and on the anatomy of a ‘launch’.

You’re also right that some will make things happen, some will watch things happen, and some will wonder what happens.

Action is key. And most of us know more about what we should be doing that we are DOING. However, I’d like to say that you’re in part managed to be part of the deconstruction before the delivery.

As one of the few people on the planet to have a copy of this tool already…and even I am still waiting for the wizard to make the sites (that part goes live for all launch owners at the same time)…this is the kind of tool that is open ended.

That is, even those of us who make things happen by taking action, will find ourselves watching things happen we never personally envisioned and in a few cases wondering what happened because this tool is going to grow FAR outside it’s intention.

And what we must wait to see is will it be a Frankenstein Monster of modern consumerism or will it be a Freeing and Liberating force allowing a way into a huge part of the market “for the rest of us” who don’t know PHP, CGI, or take AZT?

    Warmly,

    Paulie Sabol

PS I do recomend it as an owner. See..

I’m not an affiliate for this course, and I don’t know any more about it than has been released to the public… but I do know that Mike knows his stuff and produces quality products. (No, I don’t know him personally, but I have seen him speak in person.)

I wouldn’t dismiss someone’s stated opinion just because he is a student or associate of the product creator - it’s possible to have that relationship and still honestly believe the product is good.

Maybe you should judge the course after YOU have seen it, rather than judging others’ opinions.

BTW, Brian is offering some bonuses that others can’t offer, like a followup call with Mike after people have had the course for a while, to answer their questions after they’ve gone over it, not just before it launches as just a sales pitch.

    Sabrina,

I just wanted to offer an update on Butterfly Marketing.

    I bought the package.

I was the 13th person to buy it. I just missed out on the free ticket to any of Mike’s personal training seminars, but I did manage to buy it in time to get a free one hour consulting call with Mike. That alone is valued at $1,000.

I just wrote a followup article on my experience since I’ve bought Butterfly Marketing. In fact I’ll probably be writing serveral more articles and setup a sub category of my blog for them:

[…] There’s a good reason why I don’t jump on the bandwagon with my hard-earned cash. For example, I didn’t salivate during the Butterfly Marketing Craze and I’m glad I didn’t. Instead I picked up the manuscript when Mike Filsaime released it on it’s own - I was very happy with that purchase and with my earlier decision. […]
