Butterfly Marketing

I have to admit I was wondering if Mike F’s buzz over butterfly marketing was going to lead to a lot of disappointment. Been watching it and only picking up a few details from Brian T. Edmondson’s newsletter - I unsubscribed from a ton of the internet marketers’ newsletters because of all the regurgitated ads. Brian apparently paid Mike F a chunk of dough to be his apprentice for Butterfly Marketing. Naturally he is impressed.

Anyway, ho hum… like John Reese it’ll all be dissected in the weeks following release and once we scrape away the over-the-top ‘jubilants’ and the gutter critics, we’ll see what we have left.

Nevertheless, I do have to agree with the principle. Tiny incremental changes can make create huge results. Key is action. Once you start the wheels in motion, momentum gathers.

Action! Nothing happens till something moves. ;-) It’s a book by Robert Ringer. Pick it up.

RSS to Email

Was just reading Wordrider following the discussion about RSS Feeds. While I have been using FeedBurner for some of my other blogs I am expanding my knowledge on RSS in order to set up a really effective system here.

Wordrider talks about FeedBlitz as an effective RSS to email tool - could work for an email newsletter, hmm? Gotta mull over whether this would be useful in any of my current applications- or maybe it presents a new opportunity. We’ll see.

Do You Want To Build A Business That Works?

No it’s not a simplistic question.

My point is simply this: from my previous attempts to be an entrepreneur, I realize that my business was working me to death. I decided I wanted my business to work for me instead.

Like investing. Put money in and somebody else does the labor and grows your money.

Oversimplified? Yes. I’m not talking about not doing any work. But I am talking about working smarter, not harder.

I figure if others have done it, I’m sure as shootin gonna see if I can accomplish it too. If I can develop some business smarts and become an “ethical opportunist” (Jay Abraham’s term) I’ll do ok.

How about you?
